Pool B Played first at 10:10 am Friday August 8th, 1997. Petri Isola's double spinning gitis helped his team win the pool ahead of S. Wentzel/L. Imperiale/B. Wright, and the young team of M. Nilson/B. Alhstrom/P. Jonson played solid to make their first major finals. (Keep an eye on these hot Swedish players in tournaments to come)

Pool A "finnished" the freestyle semi round at 11:55 pm. Team Swed-"Hein", J. Arversk/S. Karlsson/R. Karlsson were propelled to the finals with the help of J Arversk's triple spinning pull out. This team pulled off an upset in the prelims by winning their pool over the top seeded C. Richards/D. Schiller/T. Leitner. Reto Zimmerman pulled out a extended combo to a double spinning gitis which received 8s & 9s from the Difficulty judges. He helped carry his team to 2nd place.. Winning the pool with a nearly flawless 1 drop routine was C. Richards/D. Schiller/T. Leitner. It was the best routine of the tournament so far.

The finals will be held Sunday in Helsinki, Finland. Check out this page sunday after noon (US time) for results.
